How to use an Access controller with multiple controllers

You can use up to two Access™ controllers at the same time. You can also use up to two Access controllers with one DualSense™ wireless controller.

After you’ve paired your Access controller with your PlayStation®5 console, you can start collaboratively using your DualSense wireless controller.

If you want to use two new Access controllers for the first time, you need to pair both with your PS5® console.

You can also wirelessly pair a second controller if the first controller is already paired with your PS5 console.

All Access controllers have the same base profile (default settings) out of the box.
You can use a DualSense Edge™ wireless controller (CFI-ZCP series) instead of a DualSense wireless controller.
The controller indicator on each Access controller lights up to help you identify them.
- Controller 1 displays one lit indicator.
- Controller 2 displays two lit indicators.
You can connect up to four controllers to one PS5 console. You can play with others, but only one player can pair and use the Access controller(s) per console.
