The TV anime based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga series (written by Koyoharu Gotouge) began airing in April 2019. Now, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, a demon-slaying action game based on the TV anime, is coming to PS5 and PS4!
Solo play mode allows you to walk the path of Tanjiro Kamado and experience his fight against demons while Versus mode allows you to choose any combination of 2 characters to battle. With simple controls and exhilarating gameplay, rise up to become the strongest of the Demon Slayers!
Story
It is the Taisho Period in Japan.
Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon.
To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family.
A sorrowful tale of siblings in which the fates of humans and demons intertwine... begins now!
Re-experience the story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" anime in solo play mode. Take the sword of Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was slaughtered and sister Nezuko transformed into a demon herself, to fight the demon threat and turn Nezuko back into a human!
Versus mode
With simple controls and exhilarating gameplay, rise up to become the strongest of the Demon Slayers in Versus mode! Up to 2 players can battle in offline or online 2v2 brawls with any combination of characters, including Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado!

A kindhearted boy. He lived a blissful existence with his mother and siblings, but were attacked by demons while he was out working. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, as well as to avenge the death of his family by hunting down the demon who killed them.
Nezuko Kamado Voiced by: Abby Trott (English), Akari Kito (Japanese)
Tanjiro’s younger sister, who has been turned into a demon. Though a demon, she never attacks humans, thanks to both Urokodaki's hypnotic suggestion and the strength of her own will. She joins Tanjiro in his fight against the demons using her own demonic powers.
Zenitsu Agazuma Voiced by: Aleks Le (English), Hiro Shimono (Japanese)
He joins the Demon Slayer Corps at the same time as Tanjiro and Inosuke. He has an acute sense of hearing and can identify the sounds made by other people or demons. In battle, when he is scared to death, he falls asleep and his personality changes to the swordsman that can unleash "Thunder Breathing."
He joins the Demon Slayer Corps at the same time as Tanjiro and Zenitsu. He is extremely aggressive, always seen wearing a wild boar mask, and uses his "Beast Breathing" to rush headlong into battles.
One of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Water Hashira, who uses "Water Breathing". A quiet, stoic man, he is the one who recruited Tanjiro for the Demon Slayer Corps.
A man with a goblin mask. He lives in a small hut at the foot of Mount Sagiri where he trains candidate Demon Slayer Corps swordsmen. He trained Tanjiro.

The boy in the fox mask that Tanjiro meets during training on Sagiri Mountain. He is one Urokodaki's former students.
Makomo Voiced by: Ryan Bartley (English), Ai Kakuma (Japanese)
The girl in the fox mask that Tanjiro meets during training on Sagiri Mountain. She is one of Urokodaki's former students.
One of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Insect Hashira, who uses "Insect Breathing". Whether it's a human or demon, she'll maintain a polite demeanour while never letting her smile fade.
Kyojuro Rengoku Voiced by: Mark Whitten (English), Satoshi Hino (Japanese)
One of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Flame Hashira, who uses "Flame Breathing". He's cheerful and eccentric, but never one to mince words."
Murata Voiced by: Khoi Dao (English), Kōki Miyata (Japanese)
Tanjiro's senior comrade who also uses "Water Breathing." He joined him on the Natagumo Mountain mission and even got to show off a bit of his bravery to everyone.
During the battle at Natagumo Mountain, the memory of his late father doing a Kagura dance flashed in his mind, and he applied those movements to learn a new Breathing Style: "Hinokami Kagura."
