Utilise FC IQ to deliver more strategic control on an individual player level and a collective team level, and enjoy a number of requested features including an expansion of Evolutions, all-new Player Roles powered by real-world data, the removal of Contract Items and the ability to store duplicate Items to be actioned later such as for use in SBCs.

Football Ultimate Team Rush

Rush is a new, excitingly fast-paced and social way to build and play in Ultimate Team™ with friends.

Choose your favourite player and team up with friends in 5v5 matches. Rewards you earn in Rush can be used to build out and improve your Ultimate Team club.

FC IQ

FC IQ overhauls the game’s tactical foundations to deliver more strategic control, smarter teammates, over 50 individual Player Roles and more authentic collective movement in every 11v11 match.

Player Roles impact how each and every player behaves on the pitch, delivering improved intelligence and movement off the ball. The new Team Management system gives you deeper insight and control over Player Roles, allowing you to better understand and influence tactics at both the individual and team level.

Manager Items come with tactical presets, allowing your team to immediately adopt their playing style. Experiment with different managers throughout the year to find the right fit for your squad and style of play.

Expanded Evolutions

EA SPORTS FC 25 brings more customization and personalization to Ultimate Team than ever before.

All-new Evolution boosts have maximum limits, allowing you to upgrade your favourite players with fewer entry requirements and restrictions and shape your club around your personal fandom.

Upgrade your Player Item shells through all-new cosmetic Evolutions and add additional breakouts to your Items or modify embellishment components, including backgrounds, borders, player silhouettes and SFX.

New stadium and match experience

The newly designed modern stadium paired with more engaging live broadcasting sequences give you a completely fresh match experience.

New presentation elements shine a light on recent squad choices and highlight your own as well as your opponent’s unique players.

Larger away sections allow you to bring more fans and customizations with you on the road and boost the atmosphere in the stadium.

Community requests

Fans' voices have been heard with many new features added as a direct result of community requests - such as the new Evolutions system, which will expand across the year. 

Additionally, a redesigned points system grants weekly rewards, ensuring progress even if matches end in draws, and relegation has been reintroduced to the top division to ensure fairer matchmaking.

Football Ultimate Team™ Seasons - Season 1: Total Rush

Season 1: Total Rush introduces World Tour, a new player programme that is focused on a different country each season. Spain is our destination for Season 1 - check out the World Tour player items available throughout the season.

World Tour and Total Rush players will feature in the Season 1 ladder, alongside compelling pack, club item and Consumable Evo content. Keep an eye on the various live objectives.

At Level 39 of the season you'll unlock the Season Ladder Excellence Cosmetic Evolution. This reward lets you transform the item shell of any player in your club into a striking purple design.

Pick a club, create your best Ultimate Team squad and play for prizes. Bring your A-game and get ready for EA SPORTS FC 25 competitions on PlayStation Tournaments.

Tournaments rules

Division rivals

Division Rivals is an online seasonal competition with a skill-driven rank system that can be played solo or co-op. Players need to win matches to climb the ladder, increasing your rank and division so you can challenge for better rewards. 

Additionally, players can play matches to earn FUT champions qualification points based on the division they’re playing in and use those points to qualify for the FUT champions playoffs.
