PlayStation 3 Months of PlayStation Plus Premium Offer; Claim 3 Months PlayStation Plus Premium at no extra cost when you purchase a new PS5 console between 15 July 2024 and 28 July 2024

Claim 3 months of PlayStation Plus Premium from PlayStation when you buy and activate a new PS5 console between 15 July 2024 and 28 July 2024 (the "Promotion Period"). Claimants must be at least 18 years of age and hold an account for PlayStation Network registered in Canada, Germany or UK.  New subscribers must claim their 3 month subscription from the on-console membership selector (the qualifying product will display at no cost) before the end of the Promotion Period. If another membership is taken from that menu, the offer will cease to be available.Existing subscribers will receive an on console notification containing the redemption link within 5 working days of first activating their PS5 console within the Promotion Period (console notification may no longer be visible if opened but code not activated within 30 days). Limit 1 claim per user. No substitutions or replacements. Offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers. Void where prohibited.

We have become aware of an unforeseen technical issue preventing the new subscriber offer appearing as expected in the on console user flow as described in the terms and conditions for this offer. New subscribers will receive their 3 months of PlayStation Plus Premium as a redeemable voucher delivered as a console notification.

How to claim:

Customers eligible under the terms and conditions of this Offer can claim 3 months Plus Premium at no extra cost  after activating a new PS5 console between 15 and 28 July.

The way in which you receive your 3 months of PlayStation Plus Premium will vary depending on your current PlayStation Plus membership status.

Activating a PS5 console for the offer

In order to activate a PS5 console under this offer, each customer under this offer must log into the PS5 console with a valid account for PlayStation Network.

If you have successfully logged into your PS5 console, you will be able to access the console main menu. 

The next steps to claim the offer will depend on your membership status.

New to PlayStation Plus or Returning to PlayStation Plus:

If you are not currently a PlayStation Plus member (either you have never had a PlayStation Plus subscription or you have previously held a subscription that has since expired), your offer will be claimable via the PlayStation Plus Hub on your new PS5 console. 

  • Navigate to the Playstation Plus Hub in your PS5 console main menu (it is the option furthest to the left hand side of the menu).

  • The front page of the PlayStation Plus Hub will display a banner referring to this promotion. 

  • Select the membership selector page

  • Select the option on the Membership selector page titled ‘3 Month Premium offer – 100% off’. This option will display at no initial cost

PLEASE NOTE that if you select any other subscription period (1 month or 12 months) or any other level of available PlayStation Plus membership plans (PlayStation Plus Essential or PlayStation Plus Extra), you will permanently lose your eligibility to claim the 3 months of PlayStation Plus Premium.

Once your PlayStation Plus subscription ends you will lose access to all PlayStation Plus benefits such as monthly games, online storage and online multiplayer – We recommend that you add a payment method to your account to ensure your subscription continues uninterrupted. 

Existing PlayStation Plus Customers:

Complete the PS5 activation process by signing into your account for PlayStation Network where you have your PlayStation Plus membership.. 

Within 5 business days, you will receive an on console notification to ‘redeem’ your 3 months free plus. 

We advise you redeem this promptly, or take a note of your voucher code as clearing your notifications may result in your voucher code being deleted at the same time. If you accidentally clear your notifications and need to retrieve your unclaimed code, please contact PlayStation Support.

  • New to Plus or returning to PlayStation Plus: The offer for new and returning customers should appear immediately, but please allow up to 48 hours before contacting us.  If after that your offer hasn’t appeared please contact us

  • Existing PlayStation Plus Customers: For existing customers please check your notification centre, allowing up to 5 business days, before contacting us.

  • Yes, however it is not possible to add a PlayStation Plus Premium membership to a PlayStation Plus Essential or PlayStation Plus Extra membership. If you wish to claim the PlayStation Plus Premium membership, you must upgrade your membership to Premium level. 

  • If you’re on a lower PlayStation Plus membership plan than the voucher you're redeeming, the voucher upgrades your PlayStation Plus membership plan.

  • When you redeem the voucher, your membership is upgraded and the remaining days of your previous membership plan are converted to an equivalent amount of days at the new membership plan, based on the PlayStation Store price.
