Most online multiplayer games for PS4 and PS5 require a PlayStation Plus subscription. However, there are some titles, such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite and Apex Legends, that do not require a subscription. Check a game's listing on PlayStation Store to see if PlayStation Plus is required for online play.
