PlayStation®5 Spider Mission Hunt Event Terms & Conditions

The PlayStation®5 Spider Mission Hunt(hereinafter referred to as "the Event") is organized by Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the Organizer"). Marvel, The Walt Disney Company, and their affiliates are not sponsors, administrators, or prize providers for the Event.
Event Period:
The Event commences on October 20, 2023 at 10:00:00 Hong Kong Time and ends on October 31, 2023 at 23:59:59 Hong Kong Time, all timings being subject to the Organizer's server (the "Event Period")
Eligibility:
The Event is open to an individual who is a legal resident of Hong Kong. (i) Employees of the Organizer, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising, and promotional agencies (collectively referred to as "Promotion Entities"), (ii) employees of Marvel, The Walt Disney Company and their respective affiliates, and (iii) each of the immediate family members of those under (i) and (ii) (e.g., spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate or win to ensure fairness. This paragraph is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

By participating in the Event, participants fully and unconditionally accept these terms and conditions and any decisions or interpretations made by the Organizer concerning these terms and conditions. Such decisions by the Organizer are the final and binding determinations for all matters related to the Event.

How to Participate:
To participate in the Event, participants must get a game card at Daily Bugle POP UP. Participants who have, during the Event Period, collected the required number of stamps will be entitled to redeem a sticker, Prequel Comic Book (Physical), Lenticular Postcard or patches (as specified below), at the designated locations. The aforementioned redemption items are limited in quantity and will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Available while supplies last.

Participants must visit the designated locations to complete the missions specified above and collect stamps from on-site PlayStation staff.

Participants will earn one stamp each for completing each mission above. The stamp for each mission can only be collected once and each mission cannot be repeated.

Redemption items
Participants have to provide their game card for confirmation by the staff at a designated location in order to be entitled to redeem the following redemption items, on a first-come-first-serve basis and while stocks last:
-          Stickers: Complete Mission 1 and collect 1 stamp. Redemption limited to 1 pc per participant during the event period .
-          Prequel Comic Book (Physical) or Lenticular Postcard: Complete 3 Missions and collect all 3 stamps. Redemption limited to 1 pc per participant during the event period.
-          Patches (6 pcs per participant): Complete Mission 1 & Mission 2 and collect 2 stamps, and show the purchase receipt*** of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" game disc or "PlayStation®5 Console – Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle". Redemption limited to 6 pcs per participant during the event period.

*** For the proof of purchase of the physical copy of

By participating in the Event, each participant agrees to authorize and to provide the Organizer and its affiliates the right to use, edit or share that participant's posts in other social media or marketing materials in the future without payment or prior notice to that participant, and (ii) each participant agrees that, if their entry is subject to the rights of third parties, the participant shall be solely responsible for obtaining clear and unambiguous prior consent from such third parties as a requisite for such entry to be valid in the Event.

Participation Restrictions: Participants are prohibited from using more than one Facebook/Instagram account or multiple identities. If the Organizer finds or has reason to suspect that a participant is using more than one Facebook/Instagram account or multiple identities to participate in the Event, then the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify that participant, and that participant will not be eligible to win any prize from the Event.

IMPORTANT: Message and data rates may apply if a participant participates in the Event on their mobile device. Participants should consult their mobile provider's pricing plans. Mobile entry is not required to enter or win a prize in the Event.

Prizes and Winners Announcement:

The best photos submitted by the Participants during the Event Period will be judged by the Organizer based on creativity and aesthetic elements.
The top twenty (20) winners who are judged by the Organizer to have submitted the best photos shall be rewarded with the following prizes.

Multiple entries are allowed, but only one of the entries (if multiple entries are submitted by the same participant) will be judged per participant.

All winners will be announced on PlayStation Hong Kong's official Facebook on November 15, 2023(Hong Kong Time).

How to collect prizes：
- All winners will be notified within three weeks after the Event concludes. Failure by a winner to provide all required information in their reply by return within the time period specified by the Organizer may result in forfeiture of the winner’s right to claim his/her prize. All Event prizes will be sent out by December 15, 2023 (Hong Kong Time).
- The Organizer reserves the right to replace prizes with a prize of equivalent or greater value in case of unavailability of a price for any reason. Winners cannot request prize changes, cash equivalency, transfers, or sales. No receipt will be issued for the prizes.
- Promotion Entities shall not be held responsible for any delay in awarding or delivering the prizes for any reason.
- All prizes are not entitled to product warranty. If prizes are lost, stolen, or damaged after being received, they will not be replaced.
- Contact information must be accurately provided by participants. If incorrect details provided by a participant lead to an inability to contact a winner, that participant’s eligibility will automatically be forfeited.
- Prizes are exclusively for winners and cannot be gifted, sold to third parties, or exchanged for cash. If winners cannot attend, they forfeit their prize without any right to alternative compensation or rights.
- Winners under 18 must obtain written consent from their legal guardians or parents.
- The Organizer is not liable for any delays, losses, errors, non-recognitions, or damages to participant data due to reasons beyond its control, such as computer, network, phone, or technical issues. Participants cannot object to this.
- The Event is only open to residents of Hong Kong.
- The Organizer reserves the right to review the eligibility of participants. If upon review, a participant is found ineligible, the Organizer may revoke their winning status.
- Any unmentioned details or any changes or modifications related to the Event will be announced on PlayStation Hong Kong's official Facebook account, with no separate notifications. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Event and hold the final interpretation rights.
- Participants are required to provide correct information. If any information provided by a participant is found or suspected by the Organizer to be incorrect or incomplete, their participation entry shall be disqualified without notice. If any fraud or abuse by a participant is found or suspected by the Organizer, or if any entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or is deemed to be of poor quality, incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible, misleading, deceptive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate in the opinion of the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify that participant’s participation entry without notice and to take any necessary legal action.
Liability Limit:
These terms and conditions will not exempt or limit the Organizer in any way from liability related to fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury or death caused by their negligence, or any other liability to the extent such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. By participating in the Event, participants agree to release and hold harmless (i) the Promotion Entities, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, web providers, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives, appointees and agents and (ii) Marvel, The Walt Disney Company, each of their respective affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors and employees ((i) and (ii) (collectively, "Released Parties") from any responsibility for:
(i) Lost, delayed, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, postage due or undeliverable email/messages or mail;
(ii) Errors, malfunction or unavailability of any computer, phone, hardware, software, network or internet;
(iii) Miscommunication, mistaken or scrambled data transmission, service provider/network connection, availability or congestion;
(iv) Technical, mechanical, printing or typographical errors;
(v) Incorrect or inaccurate registration information, or failure to register;
(vi) Any malfunction, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, communication failure, technical errors, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to the Event;
(vii) Damage or destruction to personal computers related to or resulting from participating in the Event or accepting a prize;
(viii) Entries that are late, forged, lost, misplaced, misdirected, tampered, incomplete, deleted, damaged, garbled, or otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions. Moreover, the Promotion Entities are not responsible for any unreplied or undelivered winner notifications.

Participation in the Event signifies the participant's agreement to:
(i) Be bound by these terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements;
(ii) Waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions;
(iii) Waive the right to bring any claim, action, or lawsuit against any of the Released Parties in relation to the Event; and
(iv) Forever and irrevocably agree to release and not pursue each of the Released Parties for any and all claims related to: (a) The Event, including, but not limited to, any Event-related activities and the participant's registration, participation, or inability to participate in the Event; (b) the infringement of any third party privacy, personal, publicity, or proprietary rights; (c) Acceptance, attendance, receipt, travel, participation, delivery, possession, defects, use, non-use, misuse, inability to use, loss, damage, destruction, negligence, or deliberate misconduct related to the use of a prize (or any of its parts); (d) Any change in the prize (or any of its content); (e) Human error; (f) Any error, negligence, unauthorized action, or omission of any of the Released Parties; (g) Loss, delay, theft, misdelivery, damage, or destruction of a prize (or any of its parts); or (h) Any claim, lawsuit, cause of action, demand, fine, penalty, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with the participant's negligence, wilful misconduct or deliberate breach of the rules.
Should any reason present the Event from proceeding as planned, the Organizer reserves the right, to cancel, suspend, modify, or delay the Event and/or to proceed in a fair and reasonable manner to select the winners, including selecting winners from eligible participants in the event of cancellation, suspension, modification, or delay. In no event will more prizes be awarded than those listed in these terms and conditions. If technical, typographical, mechanical, operational, printing, production, computer, or other errors result in more winners than listed in these terms and conditions, a random drawing will determine the winners from among the claimants.

Without limiting the foregoing, all items related to the Event, including prizes, are provided "as is", without any form of express or implied warranty, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Disputes: The Event is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and shall be interpreted accordingly. Any disputes or claims arising out of or related to the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Privacy Policy: The Organizer shall process all personal data provided by participants, or which Organizer collects from participants, in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at: https://www.playstation.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
Participants may request the Organizer to delete their personal data before the Event concludes, but doing so may disqualify participants from the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants from the Event if any personal data provided by participants is false, inaccurate, or misleading.
Publicity: By participating in the Event, participants grant the Organizer and those authorized by the Organizer the right to use their names, addresses, personal details, preferences, online IDs, personal appearances, photos, and other information or content provided during the Event for promotional, trade, commercial, advertising, and publicity purposes in any media, including but not limited to television and the internet, without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Terms: Participation in the Event through any means other than the previously mentioned will be deemed invalid. If any participant is found or suspected of obstructing the operation of the Event, violating the terms and conditions, engaging in unsporting behavior, or intentionally affecting the normal operation of the Event, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify them. Attempts to participate in the Event other than as described in the terms and conditions will not be accepted. If any individual is found to be using or attempting to use multiple phone numbers, email addresses, residences, identities, IP addresses, proxy servers, or other means to register multiple times, all of that individual's registrations will be voided, and they will not receive any prizes they might have won. Participation in the Event using machinery, automation, macros, programming, third-party means, or similar methods will be nullified, and such participants will be disqualified. If there is doubt about the eligibility of a winner, the Organizer may request personal identification. The winning answer is deemed to have been submitted by the "authorized account holder" of the email address provided at the time of registration. An "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business or educational institution). Participants may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder. Intentionally damaging any website or hindering the normal operation of the Event is a criminal offense. If such behavior is detected, the Organizer reserves the right to take legal action against the individual. If any provision or part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable or void for any reason, that provision or part should be modified or deleted to ensure the rest of the terms remain effective and enforceable. The inability to enforce or void any provision in these terms and conditions or prize documents will not affect the other provisions. Participants have no right to amend these terms. If the Organizer cannot enforce any provision within the terms, it does not mean waiving that provision; the provision remains in full effect. Any submitted registration and/or information becomes the property of the Organizer and will not be returned. If any promotional details (including but not limited to point of sale, TV or print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotional media) differ from what is described in these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions prevail.
In case of any disputes, the Organizer's decisions are final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal. The terms and conditions are subject to change by the Organizer without prior notice.
