Having connection or tracking issues while using a Bluetooth adapter?

  1. Make sure the PS VR2 Sense™ controller is charged.
  2. If you’ve paired your controller with a PlayStation®5 console, make sure the console is turned off.
  3. Turn off other Bluetooth® devices.
  4. Make sure there are no obstructions between the controller and the Bluetooth® adapter.
  5. If you are using WiFi, connect to the 5GHz band.
  6. Connect to a USB 2.0 port as far away as possible from the USB 3.0 port.
  7. Use a USB 2.0 extension cable* to move the Bluetooth® adapter away from the PC.

*Depending on the Bluetooth® adapter's compatibility, some products may not work. Operation is not guaranteed.

If you are using a built-in Bluetooth® adapter and want to use an external Bluetooth® adapter, follow these steps.

  1. Disable the built-in Bluetooth® adapter from Device Manager
  2. Connect the external Bluetooth® adapter.

If you’re still having issues, please try the following.

  1. Try restarting Windows.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth® adapter, wait a while, then turn it back on and try again.
  3. Uninstall the Bluetooth® adapter driver from Device Manager and shut down your PC. Wait a few seconds and then turn the power back on.
  4. Go to Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
If the driver is distributed by the Bluetooth® adapter manufacturer, please update it to the latest version.
