How to manage authorized apps

Find out how to unlink authorized apps from your account.

Authorized apps are third-party apps and services that you've linked your account to. Some third-party services require access to your account data. Once you approve this, the service becomes an authorized app.

How to manage authorized apps online

You can view and unlink your authorized apps by following the steps below.

  1. Sign in to Account Management and select Authorized Apps.
  2. Choose the app and select Unlink > Yes.
  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Authorized Apps.
  2. Choose the app and select Unlink > Yes, Unlink.
  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Authorized Apps.
  2. Scan the QR code on your mobile device.
  3. Choose the app and select Unlink > Yes.
  1. From the home screen, tap the settings icon (gear icon) at the top right.
  2. Scroll down to the PlayStation Network section and select Authorized Apps.
  3. Choose the service and select Unlink > Yes.
  • When you add an authorized app, you give permission to share some of your account data with that app, such as your online status and gameplay information.
  • Your child can also add apps to their account. As the family manager or appointed parent or guardian, you can view and manage any apps that your child adds to their account.
