The acclaimed pirate adventure sails to PlayStation, offering the quintessential pirate experience both solo and with friends.

Weigh anchor and set out to plunder lost treasures, navigate intense sea battles, vanquish sea monsters, explore sunken kingdoms, raid forts and much more.

Sea of Thieves is set in a world rich with stories, quests and eccentric characters. You’re free to use any tool at your disposal to live the pirate life however you see fit.

Explore a vast open world

Discover unspoiled islands and underwater kingdoms, take on quests to hunt for lost loot, forge a reputation with the Trading Companies and battle foes from Phantoms and Ocean Crawlers to Megalodons and the mighty Kraken. Try your hand at fishing, make maps to your own buried treasure or choose from hundreds of other optional goals and side-quests!

Sail solo or crew up for adventure

Set sail alone or with your friends and enjoy cross-platform play in a vast open world. Explore the waves at your leisure in Safer Seas mode – or opt to journey on the shared world of High Seas mode for richer rewards and the chance of encounters with other pirate crews, each on journeys of their own. Will they be friend or foe, and how will you respond?

Choose your challenges

Voyages of all kinds can be chosen from your ship’s Quest Table before diving straight into the heart of the action in search of gold and glory. Or simply pick a spot on the horizon, weigh anchor and let the winds carry you into adventure. Guide your unique pirate on a path to Pirate Legend and beyond by building your reputation and notoriety on the seas.

Change style with the season

Rewards include thousands of ways to transform and accessorise your pirate and their ship. Don new clothes, add tattoos and scars, and expand your array of weapons, pets and sea shanties. Deck your ship out in new sails, figureheads and furnishings. Each season brings new game features and rewards so you'll always have a fresh look for plundering.

Wild things are stirring in Sea of Thieves: Season 15

The Sea of Thieves is more exciting than ever as new life abounds across the waves.

Set forth on new Voyages for The Hunter's Call, take part in Emissary play, work towards an increased level cap, and earn fresh fishy rewards as you clash with two merciless new Megalodon.

Players can also grapple with wild boars and get to grips with hunting spears, as well as enjoying other newly introduced features.

The Season 15 Plunder Pass - available for 999 Ancient Coins - enables players who max out their Renown before the end of the Season to get their hands on the Dynasty of the Deep ship set, including Collector’s Sails and Figurehead, the Dynasty of the Deep Hat, Jacket and Belt and a bounty of 750 Ancient Coins to spend in the Pirate Emporium.
