What's new in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS?

Stick ‘em up! It’s time to blow that vault door wide open and make a 'withdrawal'. Ransack Fletcher Kane's banks, take over his armoured cars, even pull off a train robbery. The outlaw Midas returns with a new motley crew including wannabe hip-hop icon Big Dill, Cassidy Quinn and more. There's no such thing as honour among thieves in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS.

Get ready for a notorious new look. The LAWLESS Season brings the LAWLESS Battle Pass, offering a wealth of outfits and accessories.

What's new in the Battle Pass?

Unlock and claim rewards in the Battle Pass by earning XP in any Fortnite experience

The LAWLESS Battle Pass has both free and premium rewards. To claim the premium rewards as you earn XP, purchase the Pass for only 1,000 V-Bucks or get it through Fortnite Crew! Included as premium rewards, there are several Outfits in the Pass:

  • Cassidy Quinn: She's all in. (Cassidy Quinn is claimable right away upon purchasing the Battle Pass)
  • Joss: It's not magic. It's chemistry!
  • Fletcher Kane: What's yours is his.
  • Valentina: Get in, get the goods and get out with style.
  • Big Dill: The original Tasty Boi.
  • Keisha Cross: She rules the road.
  • Sub-Zero (MK3): The Lin Kuei necromancer of legend.

The fallen king with a heart of gold is finding his way back to the Island. The Outlaw Midas Outfit will be unlockable from Battle Pass Quests in March, completable in any Fortnite experience! The Battle Pass will be available to progress in until Chapter 6 Season 2 ends on May 2, 2025, Eastern Time.

What is the Fortnite Battle Pass?

Buy in-game, earn great rewards 

With Battle Pass, there are 100 tiers of great rewards to unlock in Fortnite Battle Royale every season. Simply buy in-game to start earning.

Cosmetics are no longer directly tied to reaching specific season levels and instead, Battle Stars are earned when you level up. You can then exchange Battle Stars to claim Battle Pass rewards in the order you decide for each tier. You can buy V-Bucks on PlayStation Store to purchase the latest Battle Pass in-game.

Fortnite Battle Pass FAQ

As you level up and claim rewards, more pages of the Battle Pass will unlock, offering new reward options to choose from. Want to claim a specific reward on Page 1 straight away? No problem. Would you rather hold on to your Battle Stars and level up some more to snag a reward on Page 2? The choice is yours!

Each page of the Battle Pass also has a special locked reward only available once all other rewards on that page have been claimed. Scope out your favourites and snag them first as you work to reach Level 100. After claiming all 100 Battle Pass rewards, you can keep exchanging your Battle Stars for a selection of sleek new Outfit Styles within the Bonus Reward pages.

Don’t own the Battle Pass? No worries, all players earn the same number of Battle Stars when they level and each page of the Battle Pass has rewards available for all players to claim as you play.

With a Fortnite Battle Pass, unlock in-Fortnite rewards by earning XP across Fortnite Battle Royale, LEGO® Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival. 

Did you know you can also earn XP in certain creator-made games? Creator-made games that reward XP have an XP badge in their Discover screen description. Play the way you want to complete this Season's Battle Pass!

Amp up your Fortnite experience with Fortnite Crew

Fortnite Crew is the ultimate subscription offer for getting can’t-miss Fortnite content! Join to get everything below:

  • Battle Pass included for the full season — As a member of the Fortnite Crew, you’ll always have access to the current season’s Battle Pass! 
  • 1,000 V-Bucks each month — Fortnite Crew members will receive 1,000 V-Bucks every month that can be spent in the Item Shop.
  • Get a monthly Crew Pack! — The Crew Pack is an exclusive outfit bundle that's yours to keep. Special items are curated for the pack monthly!
The Fortnite Crew subscription can be purchased directly from the Item Shop or Battle Pass purchase screen.

Get ahead with the Battle Bundle

Late joining the new season? Not to worry! Grab the Battle Bundle in-game and not only will you get access to the full Battle Pass for that season, you’ll also automatically unlock the first 25 tiers of rewards to help you catch up. The rest, though? That’ll be up to you!

What are V-Bucks?

‘Save the World’ mode has its own great range of events and unlockable items. The Battle Pass, however, is exclusive to Fortnite’s free-to-play Battle Royale mode.

Battle Royale isn't the only place to earn XP towards your battle pass, though. You can also earn XP from missions in Fortnite Save the World.
