How to fix CE-34878-0

An error occurred with the game/application.

  1. Make sure that your PlayStation®4 console system software and the game/application are both updated to their latest versions.
  1. Restart your PS4® console.

  2. If a PlayStation®Camera is connected, unplug it. Restart the console, go to Settings > Login Settings, and then turn off Enable Face Recognition.

  3. If you've replaced your console's hard disk drive (HDD), reinstall the original HDD.

If this issue keeps happening, try initialising your PS4 console.

Please note, initialising your console erases all data in the console's storage.

  1. Back up the data on your PS4 console.

  1. After completing the backup, go to Settings > Initialisation > Initialise PS4 and follow the on-screen instructions.
