Change, renew or cancel subscription

  1. Sign in to Account Management.
  2. Select Subscription from the menu on the left of the screen.
  3. Select your PlayStation Plus subscription and select Change Plan.
  4. Select a new membership plan and payment frequency.
  1. Select a PlayStation Plus membership plan.
  2. Follow on-screen instructions to set up your subscription.
  1. Sign in to Account Management.
  2. Select Subscription from the menu on the left of the screen. 
  3. Select Cancel Subscription next to PlayStation Plus.

PS Plus information and downloads

PlayStation®Plus is a paid subscription service from PlayStation which gives players access to games, online multiplayer, and exclusive content.

PS Plus cloud storage

You can automatically sync your saved data with cloud storage when you close a game or put your console in rest mode.

Cloud storage sync requires automatic updates to be enabled.

  1. Go to Settings > System > Power Saving > Features Available in Rest Mode > Stay Connected to the Internet.
  2. Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings, then select Saved Data (PS5) or Saved Data (PS4).
  3. For PS5 games, select Sync Saved Data > Auto-Sync Saved Data.  
  4. For PS4 games, select Auto-Upload
  • For PS5 games, both your console and cloud storage will sync to the most recent data. For PS4™ games, data is automatically uploaded to your cloud storage, but will need to be manually downloaded to PS5 console storage.

Automatic uploads add saved data from your primary PS4 console to online storage:

  1. Go to Settings > Power Saving Settings Set Features Available in Rest Mode.
  2. Select the check box next to Stay Connected to the Internet.
  3. Go to Settings > Application Data Management > Auto-Upload.
  4. Select the check box next to Enable Automatic Uploads.

Highlight a game from your Games home, press the options button, and then select Upload/Download Saved Data. The game's most recent saved data is uploaded or downloaded.

If automatic uploads aren't set up, or you want to upload a save from a friend's PS4 console, you will need to start uploads manually:

  1. Select your local user and go to Settings Application Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Upload to Online Storage.
  2. Select the title and then the file you would like to upload and select Yes to overwriting the cloud file.

  1. From the Games home screen, scroll right and select PlayStation Plus.
  2. Scroll to the Benefits tab and select Game Catalog.

PS Plus streaming on PC

  1. Visit the PlayStation Plus app download page. 
  2. Install any drivers by following the onscreen prompts.
  1. Start the app and sign in to your account or create an account if you don't already have one. 
  2. Connect a compatible controller to your PC. You can browse using a controller or keyboard/mouse, but you need a compatible controller to play.
  3. If you haven’t signed up for PlayStation Plus, select a membership plan.
  4. Select a game to start streaming.

Cloud Game Streaming Beta on PS Portal

  • A PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player.

  • An account for PlayStation™Network. Please note, Cloud Streaming (Beta) is not available for child accounts.

  • An active PlayStation Plus Premium membership.
    To stream games, you need a subscription for PlayStation Plus Premium. Please check whether Cloud Streaming is supported in your country or region.

  • Access to broadband internet.
    • To establish a cloud streaming session: requires minimum 5Mbps of upload and download speeds.
    • To stream at 720p: requires minimum 7 Mbps.
    • To stream at 1080p: requires minimum 13 Mbps.

You need to take the following steps before you can stream games on your PS Portal.

  1. From the home screen, open the quick menu, and then select Settings.

  2. Select Cloud Streaming (Beta).

  3. On the screen that appears, turn on Cloud Streaming (Beta).
    The lock screen appears. Press the PS button to unlock the lock screen and display the home screen. From the home screen, you can select between Remote Play or Cloud Streaming (Beta).

  • If you turn on Cloud Streaming (Beta), Home appears on the quick menu. Select this to return to the screen with the options to select Remote Play or Cloud Streaming (Beta).

Share Play PS Plus

PS5™ Console Sharing and Offline Play is automatically enabled on the PS5 console you use to sign in to PlayStation™Network for the first time. To disable or enable Console Sharing on a new PS5 console, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings Users and Accounts Other Console Sharing and Offline Play.
  2. Select Enable or Disable.

Each player can have one PS4 console activated as the primary PS4 console for their account.

  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PlayStation 4.
  2. Select Activate.

Audio, music and podcast apps

  1. Select All Apps from your media home.
  2. Select Spotify or Apple Music.
  3. Select Download.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your account for Spotify or Apple Music, or to sign up for a new account.
    The apps link with your PS5 console.
  1. Go to PlayStation Store and search for Spotify to locate and download the app.
  2. Select Sign up or Log in and enter your details. 
  3. Select Link Accounts.

Video streaming apps

Before you can watch streaming content on your PS5 console, you'll need to download the apps for the streaming services you want to use.

  1. Select All Apps from your media home.
  2. Choose the app you want to download.
  3. Select Download.
    Your media home contains your recently used media apps. A maximum of 11 apps are displayed. To find all your apps, select App Library.
  1. Select TV & Video from the content area, and then select the service you want to use.
  2. Select Download.
