What is COGEN: Sword of Rewind?
Fight, die and rewind as you battle your way through a puzzle-filled city.
COGEN: Sword of Rewind is a sideways-scolling action platfomer where you have the ability to rewind time when you die.
Kohaku wakes up in a factory she’s never seen before. Lying in front of her is a precious sword. Speaking of its own free will, the sword introduces itself as ExeBreaker.
Within ExeBreaker exists the Ouroboros System, the power to rewind time up to 3 seconds. Still unsure of what’s going on, Kohaku follows ExeBreaker’s lead.
Soon she comes upon Cogen City, her home, in complete disarray. With ExeBreaker in hand, Kohaku fights to unravel the mysteries of what's left of the altered Cogen City.
COGEN: Sword of Rewind key features
Rewind time, forge ahead!
With ExeBreaker's time reversal ability, known as the Ouroboros System, you can rewind time up to 3 seconds the instant you die. Experiment by finding the perfect moment to go back to and continue on your quest to save the city.
Fast paced action
Streak your way through Cogen City's many action filled areas with high-speed dashes and wall kicks. Defeat enemies with your trusty sword and hit projectiles back to flip the script when you're in a pinch.
A dramatic soundtrack
Renowned composer Motoi Sakuraba (Tales series, Dark Souls) lends his talents for COGEN: Sword of Rewind's invigorating yet dramatic background music.
Worlds collide
In epic cross-dimensional collaboration, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 character Copen joins as a playable character as part of available DLC (sold separately).
