Monster Hunter Rise key features

Welcome to Kamura

Enjoy a brand new story as your hunter arrives at a picturesque village making preparations for the Rampage. Meet a memorable cast of friendly locals as you investigate the cause of this catastrophic event and help them to defend your new home from devastation.

Expanded hunting actions

Wirebugs are an essential new addition to your hunter's toolkit. These versatile insects allow for rapid traversal and unlock a variety of combat options, including weapon-specific Silkbind attacks and the ability to control monsters using Wyvern Riding.

A hunter's best friend

For the first time, Palamute Canynes join the Palico Felynes as hunting assistants. These new Buddies will assist you in battle and can be ridden to get you into — and out of — battle quicker than ever before.

What is Monster Hunter?

Since its debut on PlayStation 2 in 2004, Monster Hunter has thrilled fans with its unique blend of action and role-playing elements. While the scope of the game has grown steadily over the years, the central concept of taking down gigantic monsters and using their parts to craft new weapons and armour remains unchanged — and as compelling as ever.

The series received a dramatic overhaul with 2018's stunning Monster Hunter World, helping it to reach a wider audience than ever before.
