Application data on the hard disc drive is likely to be partially corrupted.

  1. Back up your game save data on a USB storage device or in PlayStation Plus Online Storage.
  2. Delete and reinstall the application using the following steps:
    • Press the OPTIONS button on your controller while highlighting the application icon on the home screen, and select Delete.
    • Then re-insert your game disc into your PlayStation 4 System if you have a disc version, or go to the Library to download the application if you purchased the game in the PlayStation Store.
  3. If the error persists after trying the steps above, go to Settings > Initialisation > Initialise PS4 > Quick and initialise the system. Then install the application.
  4. If you have upgraded your HDD, try using the original HDD that came with your PlayStation 4 System.
