Kingdom Hearts îl urmărește pe Sora, luptător cu Keyblade, care se împotrivește, împreună cu Donald și cu Goofy, invaziei Heartless. Călătorește împreună cu ei prin peisajele din Povestea jucăriilor, Cei 6 supereroi, O poveste încâlcită, Hercule, Monsters Inc și multe altele.
Pe drum, cei trei eroi vor face echipă cu personaje Disney și Pixar, alături de care vor trăi aventuri de neuitat și vor ajuta lumina să triumfe asupra întunericului.

În Kingdom Hearts III continuă aventurile magice ale lui Sora în lumile Disney, precum Cutia cu jucării din Povestea jucătoriilor, orașul futurist San Fransokyo din Cei 6 supereroi, Regatul Corona din O poveste încâlcită, Olimp din Hercules și altele.
