Kohaku se zbudi v tovarni, ki je še nikoli ni videla. Pred njo leži njen dragoceni meč. Meč sam od sebe spregovori in se predstavi kot ExeBreaker.
Meč ExeBreaker vsebuje sistem Ouroboros, ki omogoča previjanje časa 3 sekunde nazaj. Kohaku še vedno ne ve, kaj točno se dogaja, ampak sledi ExeBreakerju.
Kmalu se zave, da je njen dom, Cogen City, sredi popolne zmešnjave. Z mečem ExeBreaker v roki se Kohaku bori, da razkrije skrivnost ostankov spremenjenega mesta Cogen City.
