Após a instalação do patch 1.08 para The Last of Us Parte II, os jogadores podem escolher, nas opções de visualização, entre uma meta de 30 FPS ou de 60 FPS. Assim, os jogadores podem optar pelo número de fotogramas por segundo que preferem para complementar as melhorias introduzidas com a retrocompatibilidade da PlayStation 5 com jogos da PlayStation 4, como a resolução melhorada, os carregamentos mais rápidos e não só.
